Bring the PS4 back from what? It's in the lead, by far.

There have been several polls regarding why people chose the PS4. I'm 95% sure that 95% saying price has never happened. And if it has, I'm pretty sure at least 95% other polls discredit it.
saying something without proof is delusional.

no. its guessing which is what everyone here is doing. denying the price difference IS delusional. |
denying that there's any effect from the price difference is delusional. Your issue is you decided put a percentage to something that can't possibly be quantified in a way to say that the the price difference is more of an effect than everything else combined by a wide margin. And disagreeing with that is in no way delusional.
Price is almost certainly the largest factor, but I disagree with you that it is basically the only factor with only minor contributions from anything else.

I didnt. I said right in the post that the price is a huge factor. Its not the only factor though.
$299 with major PR problems vs $399 with great PR is a totally different prospect to what we are seeing right now.

This is unfair. We must wait till XBO's first full holiday season to actually judge it by it's merits. That, or when it starts to do well enough. Whichever comes first, or never.
Didnt watch but the answer is "Europe and Japan".
This is why I love Sterling, he tells it like it is.
Those saying its simply price are delusional. Price is a key factor, but everything else he says is spot on as well.
And if you're to thick that you can't understand, or in so much delusion that you don't want to understand allow me to explain it in idiot's terms:
The PS4 uses indie support to flesh out its library the droughts between major releases. It also adds value to the console.
The Xb1 does not.
Between KZ:SF and I:SS, PS+ has given free games on each of its platforms every month, and on the PS4 those are new indie titles. Not system sellers, but games in between system sellers.
PS+ >XBL in relative value (basically the amount you get vs the amount you pay for)
One might argue that XBL gives you youtube and netflix, but the fact that these service require live mean that the cost more to use on XB1 than on PS4.
Even at the same price, the PS4 is still cheaper than the XB1.
And the added value of XB1 features are ironically made extraneous by the very devices they aimed to replace.
CIP, Its easier and cheaper to use Youtube with your smart tv rather than on the XB1 connected to it.
In this day and age, with the Internet, ignorance is a choice! And they're still choosing Ignorance! - Dr. Filthy Frank

there is no way to get the tripe percentage. you people focus too much on the number. it's probably an exaggeration but I think it is still pretty high,
A good deal of it is existing fans of sony from the previous generations that didn't look at the price. but the crew mostly got thees the 1st few weeks I assume. the people buying now weren't in that much of a rush and are what I believe for the most part, going for the cheaper system.

Ok Now if the ONE was $100 less than the ONE, who would be winning? I'd say the ONE, which means those other factors are irrelevant.

if the two were the same price I thin PS4 would still be winning, if the One was 100 dollars cheaper than the PS4 I think the one would be winning, but not by as much as the PS4 is winning now and therefore those other factors are significant even if price is the largest factor.
Now the 100,000 dollar question: Am I delusional because I disagree with you on this?
