But I read on NG that some copies of the game are out in the wild.

I think it's the opposite. Seeing all the interviews they are really confident with what they've done and they just hate spoilers with a passion. The fact they are voicing their concerns about them so aggressively makes me believe that there will be quite some mind blowing twists in the gameplay and/or story.

Not that anyone should need a review to know if he wants to play it.

They are, just like any other game. People are already spoiling story related plots and 3rd and soon probably the 4th powers, so better watch where you go!

Maybe not for the game, but I think it's a bad idea to have a launch day embargo and I hope its not a trend that continues

Well going off those that got leaked copies and those that have watched them steam it, all have had very positive things to say. I get my copy today so I'll let you guys know ^_^

These embargos are quite common nowadays, probably because the developers want to keep some things in the game secret until it releases. This game will score high.
