No? Wii U still sold badly. As did Donkey Kong.

What does the console and game selling poorly have to do with the statement u quoted?

Drive sales means the game caused the consoles sales to increase, nothing more nothing less. Wii U is up year over year in February and up from last month due to Donkey Kong. That by definition means it drove Wii U sales.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

wait.
jan was 49k
and feburary 82k.

interesting. so DK almost doubled wii U sales.

Eh... Nintendo really has to get things rolling into 100K a month +territory. Seems like Nintendo is putting all there eggs into the second half of the year. But hey, 88K is better than 66K. The weeks till Mario Kart are going to be slooooooooow.

DAT WII U DAT CRANKY LOL

Those are still pretty horrible sales for the Wii U, but I'm glad DKC wasn't a full on flop as its one of my top 5 Nintendo IP. Hopefully it can kick/scratch/claw its way to 500k in the US.

The GameCube sold 165k for Febuary 2003 (the corresponding month), so Wii U is still way behind the GCN and the gap is not looking to close any time soon.
