Awesome news, though the game doesn't really appeal to me. It's good to see that there is a still a strong demand for these games in the US market without them being shoved onto iOS/Android!

S-E needed to kill that shit off after FFXIII. Nobody cares about Lightning.

 

We want new characters, new storylines, new timelines, new everything. They tried way too hard to build up her popularity, thinking she would be the next Cloud Strife. Shoving shit down our throats won't change a thing. We still won't enjoy shit.

It's not true though.
He's comparing Bravely Default's retail and digital sales to Lightning Returns' retail sales. Lightning Returns is available on PSN (maybe Xbox Live?).
But that's still impressive for Bravely Default.
