There does seem to be less detail in the cloths, but the overall look of the scene is much nicer.

The faces look better to me (they looked kinda ugly and i think its the lighting that is making it seem like they have more detail and some of it was design cause he probably looked too ugly tbh), but the lighting took a big hit, just like Watch Dogs. What is going on? Is the software for lighting not finished yet?!

We are all waiting for the Division to fall flat next.

Companies are shooting themselves in the foot. This will affect future hype expectations. How can we be excited about something if we cant believe what we see?

Most people only pointed out the lighting took a hit. No one said anything like the textures look worse or something daft like that (regarding the picture resolution). Despite the time of day, you can see they remodeled the faces a bit and that the lighting is not as impressive.

Get off those high chairs before you fall from them and hurt yourselves.

well,  thats what they say but isnt just lighting, you can see review everywhere pointing out textures, shaders and other things

Glad I read through the thread first. Most of the difference really does look like it could be caused by just different lighting due to time of day. I want to say a few textures aren't as detailed but for a lot of the 2014 pictures, the entire images looks kinda blurrier. Compression and time of day are the culprits here. Either way, I'm getting this game day one. Visuals are good enough.

So far have any game reached their unveils on graphics? Ryse also got a pretty decent downgrade from what I remember and Watch Dogs looks nowhere near its official unveil.

You want to explain to me how this is a valid image comparison?

Because last time I checked, a screenshot of a 720p video does not magically become 1080p. Comparison of Shadows should be under the same lightning conditions.
