Glad I read through the thread first. Most of the difference really does look like it could be caused by just different lighting due to time of day. I want to say a few textures aren't as detailed but for a lot of the 2014 pictures, the entire images looks kinda blurrier. Compression and time of day are the culprits here. Either way, I'm getting this game day one. Visuals are good enough.
