I guess with the people saying 360 is dead noone seems to notice that it is still a software dominator. Going to pass the Wii soon WW.

Overtracked.

Lol seems like the popular trend/excuse around here.

Probably because they keep overtracking. They were 43k off of the NPD numbers for the Xbox One last month...That's practically an entire week of extra sales. Not saying that they are in the case above though.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Supply, Sony is saying it will probably be hard to find a PS4 until April.

so its safe to say DK didnt really do anything for Wii U...whats next?

Mario Kart, and that's usually the "killer app" for Nintendo systems. MK usually sells 1/3rd as many games as consoles

um no it doesnt, not sure where you are getting that. The only game in the series that even fits that description is MK Wii

MK Wii sold 33/100 million
MK DD sold 7/21 million
MK 64 sold 10/32 million

Each major console MK has always sold 1/3rd as many consoles. So even if Wii U only sells 15 million, MK8 will sell 5 million units then.

Pretty good week all round, no major drops (aside from PS4 obviously) and some pretty average debuts. But at least it looks like the U and Vita aren't going down at any sort of speed, which is a relative bonus I suppose.

Nice boost for the One as well. Good to see it doing well, it gets quite a bit of needless hate if you ask me

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I really think VGChartz should stop tracking pre-orders for JRPGs in the US. Those and some Wii U games always end up wrong lol. I knew Tales of Symphonia would be

Damn, Titanfall is really working its magic, Xbox One is finally selling more than PS3!

Xbone also outsold PS4 in USA this week.

PS4 doomed confirmed.

Vg bad guesses is evidence of what exactly ?

Wanna bet its under tracked at least by a million when PD releases official numbers ?

Id even guess it will get that 1m bump in europe alone, Vg cant track GT at all and have proven so with their countless readjustments up and down.  Some can be atributed to digital of course, but like with GT5 numbers will show they are way of.  (werent they of by 1.5 million as far as their early Gt5 numbers)

I don't really get what you're trying to tell me here.

Okay, so VGC tracks GT badly.  Do they track it badly in regions that aren't Europe; or do they track it badly in every region?

If it's the former: okay.  If it's the latter: then that doesn't make any difference to what I said.

Yeah, I agree.  It's not even that they should stop, it's that they should learn that since pretty much 100% of JRPG pre-order tracking is miles off, they should adjust their methodology somehow.  It's been like this for at least a year and a half and hasn't changed at all.

Yeah exactly. I mean it would at least be nice if those games even made it to their pre-order numbers.
