He now has an xbox one.

So can we add hypocrit to the list too please.

This vid is old and I am at a loss as to why this suddenty now gets a thread.

During the video, when he explained why he returned his Xbox, he actually said time and again that he will probably get another Xbox One sooner or later (But you probably didn't really watch the video, so how would you know), so why exactly is he a hypocrite?

In my opinion, a hypocrite is, for example, a person who claimes that he has no problem if his very private cybersex video chat is being eavesdropped and captured, claiming that he "frankly couldnt give a toss that people may watch (him)", and yet, when put to the test, wouldn't even post a single 08/15 photo of himself, in clothes, one that he he could even choose for himself. (The millions of internet users whose very intimate video chat captures are now on NSA/GCHQ servers unfortunately didn't have that choice).

What the actual fuck are you talking about....?

I'd be embarrassed if I wrote this load of old nonsense.

"millions of internet users that the NSA caught their intimate video chat"?

You may sit in front of your yahoo webcam tossing off all day.  I dont and dont assume everyone else does either.  I trust the NSA/GCHQ wiht my identity a lot more than I would some random forum dweller.

7 times? I thought microsoft service it was really good. Even I have heard people saying they got other 360 for free. About the review, without having XB1, the failure rate seems insignificant compared to 360 (for now).

Sent it in 10 times total, only got a replacement 2x. (so the OP should have said 8 times, bad math)

1x - Replaced with a broken used console
2x - 2 hour phonecall.....with Microsoft and Bell (internet) which resulted in a new console.
3-10x - Warranty was nearly done, so they kept claiming that "it's not broken." Would freeze an hour after load up, not RRoD, but not working properly..... (gone 2-3 weeks at a time)
11x - Thank god for my Best Buy extended warranty. Got a new floor model because the Slim came out. Mine was returned as a defect.

The big controversy I feel was that even though I expected me 360 to break, and even though I paid extra for a Best Buy extended warranty. I had to send it to MS since they extended their warranty too. MS covered all freezing/RRoD related issues, which IMO was bull to reduce the failure numbers.

Worst of all, MS never replaced my system with the HDMI models which had a smaller fail rate. They even replaced my original unit for another refurbished unit which didn't even work (didn't register any game with DLC or go online). Best Buy replaced my 3rd console.

-----

Another issue was that I bought an MS brand steering wheel when Forza 2 came out. My dog chewed the power cable, but because they just introduced Kinect, they discontinued the wheel. Was discontinued for a couple months only, and they couldn't sell me a new power cable.... Worst of all they designed the wheel to only accept MS power supplies, so a 3rd party charger with the correct voltage/amp still didn't work. Only had the wheel 2 years.... :-/

MS didn't replace my power charge, nor did they offer me a solution to get the wheel to work. They just said to try eBay and buy another whole wheel.......

-----

Never ever had this much of a headache with a Nintendo or Sony system.... :-/ I don't like MS customer service, it's just as bad as Rogers. This is why I'm holding off on the one until the very end, and even then...if Kinect never goes, then I never buy.

Your experience and mine have been totally different.

-PS1: broke and replaced.  Didn't call Sony

-PS2: broke and replaced. Twice.  Didn't call Sony either time.

-Xbox 360 20GB:  RROD.  Called M$ and they sent me a box to ship it in almost immediately. I sold it to buy

-Xbox 360 60GB: Discs wouldn't work.  I tried to go inside and fix it myself causing an instant RRoD.  The lady told me to send it in anyway and they'd fix it.  Been working great ever since.  Customer service was nice and knowlegeable.  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=96943&page=1

-Xbox 360 S:  I couldn't figure out how to transfer my games licensed from the old 60GB console to the new 250GB console.  It wasn't working online.  The lady at M$ said she'd take care of it and allowed all of my purchases to be played on BOTH consoles whether I was logged in or not.  At the time, I probably had 100 games so that was great!

-PS3 80GB:  I deleted a ton of movies I bought to make room for games.  Couldn't download the movies again later on.  The guy had no idea you couldn't download movies again.  I found out after googling it.  Even made this thread http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=111188&page=1

-PS3 80GB:  Guy wasn't even sure if I'd even get my 80GB PS3 back if I sent it.  I never did.  It's under my TV broken and unusable.  He helped me deactivate it, though.  I have a Super Slim now.

Oh this richie guy suck, tells straight up lies every video.

and I didn't Watch the video.... but I see two PS fans and one of them is turkish saying the guy is a tool even when it is a video dissing Xbox.... I have absolutely no doubt the guy is a freaking ding dong....

My personal experience with MS Customer service has been spotless but then again I don't call them I do everything online through live chat or directly with automated order form.... heck I even use it internationally at no extra cost....

I guess some people have it worst than other that's it.... but two defective units of something I want never stopped me from getting it... this just bad luck... faor all he knows he could have bought twenty after that and have zero problem beside the two first ones....

anyway even my 3, 360's never RRoD and the first got bought january after launch.... the disc drive died on the first one maybe 3 years later I can't recall.... got it replaced by a new one was planning to refurb the old one but got robbed before that (sucks for the burglar he took the fucked one lol), and then I got a slim when it released...

got an issue with the Kinect on Xbox one that I shipped from the US and got it replaced free in 4 days with the European Customer service no question asked and my warranty on my new Kinect has been reset to the new date....

In the Netherlands they said they can not handle the numbers of defective Xbox ones... Are they sending EU broken systems to NL?

Ugh, ReviewTechUSA. The guy is a hack. I don't take him seriously, and I'm not sure why anyone else would either.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

who says this?

After calling with Microsoft Netherlands, we were told that there were too many problems with the Xbox One. The repair department is too small to handle all those defects.

At this time, you'll need to send your Xbox One abroad to get a repair. Your warranty has not expired, but defect Xbox Ones will simply no longer be accepted for repair in the Netherlands.

http://www.pu.nl/artikelen/nieuws/xbox-one-wordt-niet-meer-gerepareerd-in-nederland/

Their is also a neogaf thread:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=780035

I read a little more and the article clearly states that their are to many defect Xbox ones in NL and that it is to small to handle, if you want your console repaired they have to send it to Germany or England..

Ofcourse no numbers how many units we are talking about or how big the repair department is;..

^this is fucking ridiculous.... Not only the NSA argument is plain stupid and retarded by any means.... Like the NSA needed the kinect??? Kinect is probably the worst place to spy most people....

So you think that a device sitting in our living room, with a HD cam and mic.. A device that uses you face and voice to connect to internet, and also has the 100% right ID becourse payment.. are somphing NSA got before.. ?

AND the real power of spying "normal people" is not the data for each person.. but the combined data.. Think of filters.. filters nsa have been perfecting the last 20 years.. and run on football sice computers.. (what are people talkin about,, who will win.. what if we do this war and so on)
