Simple question. If the Wii U was as powerful as the PS4, or heck even the PS4 when it originally launched, would it have this generation won?

Basically, let's say that in 2012 Nintendo released a boring new system with XBO specs for $300 with the pro controller instead of the gamepad and they named it the Nintendo Titan or something badass like that. Would it be the undisputed champion of the generation? Would it reign supreme over all?

No.

It would probably be getting Batman Arkham Knight, for a start.

If it was x86 and was easy to port multiplats so most developers would do it, instead of the Wii U which is powerpc so its a pain in the ass for developers to port, it would get a lot more multiplats and I think it could come in second if Nintendo did everything right, but I doubt it could come in first.

Not a lot would change, maybe more third party games would release on it but it would be as doomed as it is now.

I'm starting to be a little tired of the posts "what if". The 3 consoles are there and they are what they are, so deal with it and if one of your three beloved companies has screwed it to the bottom buy another console or blame them but don't do this xd

No, Nintendo needs to realize they can't compete with a conventional console. They have to think outside the box. And how would it cost only $300? Sony is taking a loss at $400. Nintendo can't afford to lose that much money on every console sold.

It depends on what you mean buy won. Nintendo can win as long as it sells enough consoles and be profitable, regardless of the other two. If you're talking to the point of just selling more consoles then the competitors, that's a maybe. This gen is still fresh and anything can happen before it's over. Hell, Sony might go bankrupt and Nintendo might lose to Microsoft. Lol
