Interesting fact I remember, Ico and Silent Hill were both released on the same day in NA.It was great playing the former during the day and the latter during the night.

Do you remember the day you got your PS2 and all the gaming years you had with it?

Also, I think some hardcore Sega fans still blame the Dreamcast and Sega´s demise as a hardware manufacturer solely on the PS2.

I never ever owned a Ps2, so I gues...I don't remember? :P

June 07, 2003, was when I got it (I remember since it's 3 days prior to my birthday!). Tekken 4 and memory card in tow.
I still have the box and the console is perfectly operational after a couple thousand game hours. Though, since then, I now use OPL and a nice 80GB HDD.

I LOVE YOU, PS2! Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the games I still play with you today. (Lumikki, I still love you more, no need to cut off my head).

Best console ever

I remember I got it in December 2000, along with Tekken and Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer 5, by February I had gotten bored with them, just in time for Onimusha to save the day.

Then, it was a long drought till the amazing Fall, as that picture shows.

You mean, you got the system only with that game?...why that game, specifically?

I actually don't remember the day I got my PS2 (or my PS3) weirdly enough, because I still remember getting a PS1 like it was yesterday. Guess a first console isn't something you forget.

I do know that I bought it with Tekken Tag Tournament and got Final Fantasy X + Jak & Daxter soon after.

I don't remember the date but I remember I got up from bed a morning and my mother was like: "Hey there Anfebious, you want a PS2? Yes, you want one, here you go!".

It was awesome, I really liked the console... when it worked of course. Most of the time the thing wouldn't read my DVD's and it got busted 3 years ago.
