Those were fine.  They should have stuck with those.  Been NES 2, NES 3, 4, 5, ect.

I mean Sony is Sony PLAYSTATION.  It's what it says it is, a playstation.  a station you play on.  Nintendo's is an entertainment station.  Nothing bad with those names.

It's the going to Nintendo 64, then gamecube, then wii, and finally Wii u.

Seriously has nintendo learned nothing from basic business.  You want to keep people familiar with your brand.  you don't go changing the name of Coca cola ever few years.  People would not know it was a coke and might move onto something else.  

Hmm, titles shouldn't be too complex or anything IMO. They're supposed to be approachable and simple, especially in Nintendo's case. In general people say DS to a Nintendo DS Lite, right? It's just simpler that way.

They have been creative with their systems. Thats what gives a spin to every new entry of those series.

Yoshi  riding a Mario motorbike is a cool touch if you ask me . It would have been even better if Yoshi  was actually riding the damn bastard. ( He needs to feel all the pain of being Yoshi!)

And Sony is great with console names?  Wii U sounds way better than Wii 2.

Because Miyamoto is senile now.

It should be the NES 5 or Gamecube 2 or 3.

THe point is, they have to quit chaning the name of their console.  

But hell the Super Wii sounds better and at least helps consumers know that its a new console.  THe Wii U name is a fail on so many levels on a marketing point of view. 

Maybe The U or Nintendo U would have been a better name.
