Forums - Nintendo - Platinum Games talks more about Bayonetta 2.

Still not seeing the difference. It's both about money.

Nintendo is not releasing the IP on multiple platforms because it would lose WiiU sales. 3rd prty publishers don't release on WiiU because they would lose money.

No, Nintendo is not releasing games on other systems because releasing software for the competitor's consoles would be pretty darn idiotic. Nintendo is funding the game, which is why it's exclusive to Nintendo's platform.

You're comparing apples to oranges here (1st party to 3rd party).

So when we ask it's port begging but when Nintendo asks for multiplats to be released on their System then the 3rd parties are unfair?

Asking for Bayonetta 2 port on other consoles is like asking a company to give its secret formula to the competition.

Asking for multiplats to be released on a system it's not on is like asking for a popular product available at other distributors to be available at a distributor closer to you.

They are very different things.

The difference here is that Nintendo paid for Bayonetta 2.  It would make no sense to release it on the competitions' consoles.  For third party games, it's not even about whether or not they will lose money.  Sometimes it's just the risk or whether or not the third party thinks it's worth the investment.  The process is completely different and people asking for 3rd party multiplats on a certain system show interest to 3rd parties.  With the other way around, it would make no sense for Platinum Games (or Nintendo) to even consider releasing Bayonetta 2 for other consoles.

It's port begging when you've been told a thousand times over nearly a year and half that it's not coming, but still keep asking, no, rudely demanding it.

I honestly don't care for bayonetta, but people should be mad at Microsoft or sony for not funding the game first instead of complaining to platinum games. If your a fan than just buy a wii u simple as that

thats not the same...

Explain.

Bayonetta was cancelled by its publisher, Sega. Nintendo funded the game on the condition that it would be exclusive to Wii U. Thus it's contractually not an option for it to appear on other platforms. Multiplatform games aren't subject to an exclusivity clause, so the only thing preventing them from being released on a platform is a lack of interest by the publisher. Even if Platinum wanted to port Bayonetta 2 to other platforms, they are prevented from doing so via contract.

I don't think you'll find Xbox fans crying for that game. You know who makes petitions.

Please understand was a great touch.

When will people stop asking for it to be on other consoles? Can they "please understand" Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2?

No.

Where's the link? I want to respond to this guy directly.

Most people that are still asking are trolling I think. Especially the ones directing it to Kamiya.

Cue all the "ill just wait until its ported" comments.
