Titanfall is a new IP and the majority of the public don't know of its existence. Even though it has a lot of hype right now, thats just in our little gaming bubble IMO. The majority of the informed gaming audience are leaning towards getting a PS4 and Titanfall alone isn't going to change that (its also available on 360/PC). Infamous is looking like the PS4s first system seller, so it all kind of makes.

Essentially I'm saying that even if TitanFall is as successful for the Xbox One as Microsoft hope ( I think it will be), the effects will be seen over a duration of time, not simply first week sales. Think back to the first Modern Warfare, this game is going to have really long legs as more people hear about it from there friends.

Maybe MS should lower the price to $99... Heck, that worked for Nintendo....... For a while

1. PS4 is hard to find.

2. Most TF One early buyers already have the One.

3. TF is not exclusive.

You forgot:

Infamous $569 Bundle is exclusive to Gamestop Online Store while Titanfall bundle is available at many retailers.

There are cheaper inFamous bundles out there, though. What is special about this one?

Its actually available. I can't find it on Amazon US.

Everyone know the OP only made the thread for the reason only to say "haha, look at how much better SS is selling than Titanfall", right? Just some childish fan threading going on. The good thing is that so many PS fans seem to focus MORE on Titanfall than Xbox fans. Might result in some PS fans buying the X1 :).

Yup, you're about 40 minutes late on that. Thanks though, were having an actual discussion now if you'd like to contribute.

I was contributing, I think some PS fans might consider buying an X1 thanks too Titanfall while I can guarantee that no Xbox fan will consider buying a PS4 because of SS.

I owned an Xbox 360 last generation and was a "fan" of the console - meaning no more than I enjoyed playing it. I bought a PlayStation 4 at launch so that I did not have to miss out on another inFAMOUS game. I did not and will likely never buy an Xbox One because I got sick of Microsoft's exclusives solely being grey/brown, military first-person-shooters. I have absolutely no interest in Titanfall and am fairly certain that it will flop - flop in terms of not even being close to selling as many units as some believe it will do, and it will certainly never de-throne Call of Duty or Battlefield whilst it remains exclusive to Microsoft's platforms.

There are lots of Xbox 360 owners who are now PS4 convert. They wont get Xbox One only for titanfall. Many of them will get it in Xbox 360.

I think that when it comes down to it people judge next-gen by the graphics of the games, even those who say that graphics are not the most important part of a game. Look at inFAMOUS: Second Son (which by all rights should look worse with it being an open-world game) and then look at Titanfall, one is extremely pretty and the other is less so, meaning one is decidedly next-gen and the other is not.

The Xbox One is an extremely undesirable console in the eyes of most gamers, and that has filtered down to the casual masses. PlayStation 4 hype is still through the roof, the console is sold-out almost everywhere, it is cheaper, and it is more powerful. People know these facts, and that is why the PlayStation bundle is selling more than the Titanfall bundle.

But you didn´t buy any on the Infamous games last gen? that was kind of strange.

And what exclusives are you talking about that are grey/brown military style games for Xbox 360? Gears of War might qualify there, but what more games? Just asking.

Huh? You mean like MAG, Killzone 2 + 3 and Resistance? Because I don't know of any grey/brown, military fps exclusive to Xbox.

No I didn't, which is not strange at all as I didn't own a PlayStation 3, and that is also exactly why I bought a PlayStation 4 so I don't miss out on a game that looks phenomenal! I tend to just buy one console per generation as I do not place enough value in gaming to pay two yearly subscriptions.

There were a lot of Gears of War games released, and whilst it may not be grey/brown, Halo was just another shooter - one I believe is incredibly over-hyped but that is just my opinion. The Xbox also became the home of Call of Duty, and Microsoft tried to rely on just that in the later years of the console's life-cycle. Support for the Xbox 360 has been absolutely awful the last couple of years, Microsoft abandoned their console a long while ago, and I did the same.

I don't tend to play first-person-shooters, and naming the PlayStation 3 shooters is a waste of your time as I never owned a PlayStation 3.

Edit: You are also going a little off-topic here. I don't want to derail the thread - or waste my time arguing with strangers on the internet - so let us just agree to disagree.
