itsa prequel and a tech demo. the game is only 1 hr and 30 mins long in terms of story so really si no t worth the price tage. would strongly advise to not get it since you can get better mgs games at similar prices that can last longer then 1 hr and 30mins

For a metal gear enthusiasts this game is jusified of its $30 price tag. And it aslo has several ways to tackle the missions, side ops, along with collectibles. Saves also affect MGS Phantom Pain.

The Story is that fans requested a sample of the game early and thus Ground Zeroes, the prologue to Phantom Pain was born. People are saying the game is about 2hrs thats without the side missions and I bet that they just rushed through the game cause being truly stealthy in this game would make it easily 4 hours+. Having seen the gameplay, it looks really good. Its alot more colorfull then MGS 4 and its cqc is like a hybrid of MGR and Peacewalker.

@Alt in nz this game cost 80 bucks for a story campaign thats worth 1 hr and 30 missions. Its funny ho w COD games or games that are 6 hours long get flaked for being short,, yet MGS ground zero with 1 hr and 30mins story and the rest of teh game doing collectibles is justified lol. By buying a game where kojima rips you off ,, you are allowing him keep doing this more often. Why couldn't he give it to you guys as a downloadable code by buying castlevania lords of shadows 2. That would help their game sell more copies. @dr henry there was one guy who went through the entire game twice,, did side ops mission and that took him 4 hours plus. the rest that he didn't do is get the collectibles. The game should not be sold at that price if campaign is that short. it should be max 10 bucks or as a free downloadable code like MGS2 was back in the ps2 era. Kojim is getting greedy by milking his fans.

The people who played the game and beat it with in 2hours had completion rates of 20% and below. So that is the greatest evidence for rushing through.

@ALT The completion rate was 20 % because there are side ops and collectibles to od . Single player campaign makes only a small part of the game. Why pay so much for a game thats mostly collectibles and side ops when they could have given it all for free as downloadable code. This konami and kojima being greedy . For a 30 bucks game a 6 hour campaign should at most the bare minimum.

Considering you're wrong on the something as basic as the price of the game, I doubt the validity of the rest of your claims as well.

Lol $80? It cost $30 on PS4 & $20 on PS3. Call of Duty gets flak for having short campaigns wih little substance filled with A.I enemies who come in relentless waves. I have beaten each COD campaign and I enjoyed in light of their length. It isn't the amount of time you put into the campaign, it is the content that you get from it. Sure both aspects would be great but not every game needs to be that way to be fun To each his own if you don't like the hype you don't like the hype whatevs.

The guy who got 20% completion rate completed the side ops.

Don't know crap about Metal gear series, but I'm interested about MGV coming soon. But can someone explains to me what is that Ground Zeroes game coming soon at half-game price? What is the relation with Phantom Pain?

It's pretty much a teaser for the phantom pain.
