What i not understand is in this Thread. People then love Nintendo say is a bad idea people then hate the company (like Pachter) say is a good idea.

But no you can not make Money in this buisniss model so easily how you think. Hell not even EA make profit this year and thej have releaset 65 Games for the Smartphone. It is a realy hard Market.

the majority of ambassadors don't care about exclusivity. You got a bunch of free games years before anyone else could get them...Nintendo should release ambassador games on 3DS. Way more people would be happy about that than the opposite and if you are honestly whining that other people can play games that you can play...well I pity you for your pettiness >.>

Put Nintendoland games on the smartphones and let people play with or against each other. Some will think it would look better on a TV screen and they could get $5 to buy a WiiU system.

I have three posts here recently. The point is that this smartphone thing does not have to involve your precious Mario/Metroid/Fire Emblem/Zelda franchises. Nintendo has done so much that should be appealing to the smartphone audience.

It's just an example. This is what happened to the wii. Literally. The same thing happened. At least to me. I bought all the games, supported them....and then they stopped making games. Then I modded it. Then I played whatever I wanted. I'm not trying to be antagonistic, or a doomsayer, I'm just being very direct and honest about it. This is the reality of the situation.

Look at anything that comes out on iOS but not on Android. People want to play it. It's not available, due to contract or whatever. What do they do? They play the clone. They go somewhere else. Psychologically, people excuse themselves for it. They say "whatever, it's the same game", "they're stupid to be only on iphone".

A lot of people think I get worked up about stuff on here. But I'm always very calm. I only say what I say to illustrate.

That's where you'd be wrong. I would feel very much betrayed. I thought I implied that much in my original response.

Let's see, only making the same franchise games over and over to appease their fanbase? Yep, kowtowing.

I honestly believe Nintendo has no idea what they're doing. They're like Disney, if Disney didn't buy marvel and studio ghibli. They lock up their products in a vault, only make the same kinds of movies over and over about princesses and heroes, and never venture out into new stuff. Sure it's working for them, but they were also clearly alert enough to realize they had to branch out.

And this would affect your purchasing decisions in the future? In what way?

Disliking Nintendo's dropping of support for Wii is fair enough and I agree (although there are still plenty of Wii games for me to play). I see that as a necessary move to get the Wii U out with games (unfortunately that had its own set of problems) and I can understand that it is very difficult to support three systems by yourself (Wii, Wii U and 3DS).

I do think that they should add more VC games but like I said, its not like I'm starved for games or anything. I consider VC to be a nice bonus, not a necessity...

Anyways, I don't disagree with what you are saying, you just seem to be overreacting a bit. 

@Hylian: I hope Nintendo releases all the ambassador games while you scream to the heavens "Why Nintendo?! Why would you betray me?! I thought we had an understanding! Why would you make this decision that affects me in no way whatsoever but I am still going to complain about?!"
