In the UK there always empty, there great places to go to test out the kit, but you would never buy from there, internet just wins on pricing by far too much.

I've been to one Sony store, not too many of them around but I really like seeing all their stuff. Though that location didn't have any 4k tvs at the time :(
What they need to concentrate on is getting more of their products in general storefronts.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Its ok, the fans will spin this in a positive way anyway

A lot of them do work.. this is just Sony trying to save money with their bad financials.. A lot of people still want to feel and touch a device before they are gonna buy.. to see the screen quality of a TV, listen to the sound quality.. for Sony it doesn't matter if they then buy it from Best Buy or Amazon after that..
I'm pretty sure if Sony had the money in the future they would open stores again.. (if they still have an electronics division)

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Word on the street is Microsoft is looking at hiring some of these employees....
There's still one in a mall near me, to my knowledge.
They tried to be too much like Apple in this case. They even went with the, "lol, no salezz!" direction as well.
they are franchises over here,we had a sony and a panasonic little shops they were pretty good if you ask me for all electricals & cables etc
they don't look like the picture though or apple stores not as posh as that, they just can't compete with the big shops like john lewis or out of town centres so they all close eventually
