Only if the wii U is not dieing. If by summer 2015 its sales are turning around, then the port would make sense. At the same time if the wii u is discontinued already, the port would also make sense. Not worth the risk though. If the Wii U ends up selling bad again, they'd just have to cancel the port. It's not worth the gamble in my opinion.

No, it should not, for 3 reasons...

1. The technical capabilities between Wii and 3DS are way closer than Wii U and 3DS so the compromise will be bigger, specially in the areas that using the extra definition to show the action from farther
2. The Wii U needs all the exclusive content that it can get, moving the exclusives and give the gamers other option than buying the struggling console is counter productive
3. 2015 will be too soon anyway, it took 3 years for DKCR to be sold on 3DS, so maybe by 2017 when the new Nintedo Portable console is available or the Wii U does not need the game anymore.

ummmm.... wat? How is that unoriginal? Thats called smart, it be a downgrade but people who migt of missed the game might pick it up for 3ds. Also its a port so how is it unoriginal? Seems as though you forgot DK returns 3D. Difference is TF wont sell 6mil like Returns so its better if its on 3ds as well imo.
