So, new details emerged on the official nitendo page for MK8, about a feature called Mario Kart TV, where you can upload and post gameplay on the miiverse of the game.

There is also details that in zero gravity mode, you will recieve a boost every time you collide with some other player.

Not a track editor, but a nice feature nonethless. Anyway, it's nice to see that the zero gravitiy will not be only gimmick thing, but actually change the gameplay severally. And now mario kart will ruin more friendships than mario party. Good >

I'm 95% sure this feature was announced a few months ago (possibly even E3 2013)

We've known about MK TV for a loooong time now...

EDIT: GameXplain has predicted that all the footage in the trailers is taken from MK TV if anybody is curious what it is going to look like

I'll guess that the videos are in game, much like the replay function in Tropical Freeze, hence no grainy videos. Only loadings... if there are any.
