I love social features like this. Glad to see wii u is finding its own way to compete with the PS4 share button. Miiverse has SO MUCH POTENTIAL!

That's like saying no one should be excited for anything that has been done before.  People here are completely aware of the fact that other games have had this feature for a while now.  What they're excited about is this particular one now having it as well.  Your kind of comments make me feel like you're only trying to belittle people into being "too easily amused" when this is a perfectly normal thing for people who enjoy this kind of feature, whether it is late or not.

My only problem with this feature is from what they said at E3, it's an automatically created 30 second highlight real of the race. Why can't it just record the entire race? Smash Bro. Brawl did this afterall.

I hope we can simply record replays and save them in the system for future reference as well. I had a fun time re-watching my replays in F-Zero GX with switching the game camera. Hope we can do this with Mario Kart 8, too.

I love how I thought you're lol stood for league of legends because you forgot to capitalize the "o."

But yes, confirmation of replays is still exciting news (IMO). Hopefully Nintendo can do this with all their future games.
