Disappointing, absolutely. Alarming? No.

They're still relatively cheap machines that give significantly better graphics and performence then last gen machines. That will be most evident to the average consumer, not the lack of 1080p with 60 fps.

I don't think anyone is spinning it into something positive. People are content with 900p with 60 fps.

The game runs on frostbite engine and looks really good supposedly. Heck this is a step up! BF4 only ran in 720P.

Damn, that's pretty sad when you get so twisted and biased that you can only believe the worst about one company and their managers just because they produce a console that you didn't choose. 

By the way, you made another 'mistake' about the res of The Order, or should I assume that was your intentional 'straight out lie'.

Let's get this out of the way first....The PS4 is a more powerful machine and a great system. I know it, you know it, so that should appease the (Resolution) fans who want to hate on this game based on that for some silly reason.

Just a few things......

As I previously stated this game looks like a blast!

My girls and I are really excited for this game as are several of my friends who enjoy a good multiplayer type fun shooter.

My Daughters don't even know what the hell 1080p is lol. My oldest Daughters favorite current game is Twighlight Princess on the Wii and we all know what resolution that is.

One of my favorite games this year is Starbound and....well...shit, I don't even know what res it is but the graphics are not why I play it.

The fact that the Xbone is already struggling is really bad news. If it can't run this at 1080, then hope every enjoys their poor graphics.

If it cannot do native 1080p the X1 is not a real nextgen console and will compete with Wii U instead of PS4.

Of course it can, several games already did. And it is in no way comparable to WiiU, it is way inferior in comparison to Xbone.

The problem isnt that Xbox One cant render it at 1080p. The problem is that competitor has $100 cheaper and more powerful system. I really dont understand what don mattrick and other people were thinking at that time.
