3DS is killing the competition. I was never into portables but damn the 3ds is killing the ps4 badly in their own land.

True. Now things will get much better with Persona 5 and all the crazy Dinasty Warriors clones and JRPGs, but till now there was not much of a reason to own a PS4 in Japan.

But the people here are talking about topping the global charts, and they were right, the PS4 has dominated them (after the updates).
This thread was never about Japan sales in particular, it was about the fact that PS4 would never lose in weekly global sales to the 3DS now that it was finishing being launched in all territories.
Which still holds true. Sooo, not much of a "gotcha!" bump here...

Yeah, the PS4 looks much more appealing now. Ys, Persona, and Dragon Quest alone will move tens of thousands of units.

What's especially funny about it is that the 3DS hasn't been able to top the global charts DESPITE being so dominant in Japan, suggesting the PS4's sales advantage in all the other regions is even bigger than the raw global figures would suggest. o.o Kind of turned out that a win in Japan wasn't even needed to beat the 3DS.
