Forums - Nintendo - Wii Fit U sells under 20k in U.S. for January

The retail sales aren't that important. To see how Wii Fit U has been doing you'd need to look at Wii Fit Meter sales. The game has been available digitally for free on a trial basis with the full game being made available after buying and linking a Fit Meter to the console.

the original Wii Fit moved consoles. This one...not so much. Its not like the FIt meter moved consoles either.

*That doesn't sound good ...*

I bought Wii Fit U, but I wish I hadn't. Spend more time watching it load than doing activities. Onto ebay it goes.

My 8th gen collection

When are people going to realize that casuals aren't attracted to Wii U like they were to the Wii? There was no point in even making this game. Its the same reason Just Dance 2014 sold much more on Wii. Casuals.

fatties don't want to change to fit in the media's standard of beauty, good for them

Maybe they became disenchanted because the original Wii Fit taught them exercise alone doesen't stop you from being a fatty.

The excercise game genre was kind of a fad.

THIS, it always boggled my mind how people taught that alone would work.

Not shocked. Wii U is still a controller to a lot of folks.

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

Just wait for Wii fit u they said, it will sell big numbers like the Wii did they said, it will have long legs they said.

Still waiting..

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
