I think this game is doomed to failure. It's predecessor didn't sell well to begin with. Then it's also on a later gen and exclusive to neither of the company's that it was originally on. It's like they wanted this game to fail.

It was Wii U exclusive or nothing; the game only got made cos of Nintendo.

You do realize that this game wasn't going to get made in the First Place if it wasn't for Nintendo... Sony didn't fund it, MS didn't fund it, every other publisher clearly didn't want to fund it, so Nintendo funded it and made it wiiU exclusive... Is it gonna sell well? No... But they didn't have a choice either way... Its either they couldn't make the game at all or make it on the wiiU where it would at least sell a little and they would get funding for it at least so for the developers, its a fairly good win since they don't lose anything...

Because I look forward to great games, regardless of their sales prowess.

For example, The Wonderful 101 only sold to like 14 and a half people worldwide including me and Kamiya's grandma, but I'd still be ecstatic if they ever announced a sequel.

Probably because most of those 2 million loved the game. Though it will be interesting to see how many love it enough to buy a Wii U for it.

Well then nintendo clearly made a poor decision. 

No one is denying that, I am personally glad its getting made cause I loved Beyonatta but Nintendo's decisions throughout 2013 has been piss poor... Lack of Advertising, Lack of games, no e3 show, etc... 2014 is looking to change that but no one is denying that Nintendo's decision has been lolz worthy
