I would by the Wii U for both X and Bayonetta but not until the Wii U price dropped to $100 dollar. And yes, I am willing to wait that long because I don't like to buy any console new, there are too many problems with it. I am not willing to become a guinea pig. That's all.

Yeah 199.99 price drop here and those 2 games might not get here this year anyhow. I think we can wait...easily.

There is a thing called morals, and we all abide to them. If the game was "money hatted", you can't buy the game.

Really? Has to be trolling.

The game only exists because Nintendo decided to fund it. Its not money hatting, its saving a dead franchise.

I decree that out of the mouth of a Nintendo fan the words "looks" and "amazing" shall be no less than 2 sentences apart from each other.

It looks last gen. But I guess that's fair because Nintendo fans didn't see any last gen games on their last last gen Wii. So seeing this must be amazing to them.

Fail; I've been playing 360 since before I had a Wii, and  this still looks amazing, not just visually, but in terms of how fun it looks.

Also, 2001 called, they want their definition of a generation as solely a graphics leap back.

Yes it looks better than last gen but certainly not next gen. It's last gen with nail polish. I almost cried when that thing crashed into the ground and giant square blocks with only a hint of texture jumped up. That is pitiful. The gameplay looks fun but it's the same as last gens gameplay.

So let us review: Last gen graphics(with a bit of polish) and last gen gameplay. Yep this looks last gen.

I'm not saying it will not be fun or that I will not play it(I will). But it certainly does not look amazing. It would've been amazing 5 years ago but times change and we shouldn't hold current gen games to last gen standards.

So will you let me play this, have fun with this but still cry because of the missing progress? Thanks.

You're barking up a very dangerous tree with this comment specifically. There is a way to phrase your desire that does not denigrate the Wii U.

Tell me how I can phrase my desire to play a current gen game with current gen technology on a system that clearly lacks behind the power of contemporary consoles but is still regarded current by its fans.

Also it's not just about the lack of the console's power. The devs clearly struggle to get the most out of hardware evidenced by the poor PS3 version of Bayonetta 1 and the fact that games like X look significantly better.

All I'm saying is that this game doesn't even look like current gen by WiiU's standards. It certainly has no right to wear the "amazing" plaque.

And yes I'm unfairly and double pissed off about this because I love Bayonetta. A game that was always about visual spectacle.

Leave the fans out of it, is what i'm saying. Don't start fights over this stuff.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

On the basis of what I've seen, this game looks like it could be excellent.

I have absolutely no interest in it.

Looks great. While graphically it is not something to harp on about it does look like an improvement over the first game. Bayonetta 2 is shaping up to be more grand, intense and action packed than the original Bayonetta.

You say the first game was about visual spectacle and that you loved it. Well, this one looks to have better visual spectacle than the first.

If WiiU had all Sony 1st party games, then it would be a buy for me

the xbone wouldnt get more than 720p/30fps anyway.  so who cares about less power on wii u?

This is current gen though. Having to play Bayonetta on the WiiU is as if I would have played Bayonetta 1 on Wii. Times change and so do personal standards. This time around Bayonetta is way below my standards and as such less enjoyable.
