Probably fake.

It's not on their FB page, nor on their twitter account, not on the US Direct page, not on the European Direct pages and not on the Japanese pages.

Besides, the FB page has a 3DS only on the announcement. I'm thinking itll be a new 3DS model reveal. It's probably a more 3DS focused event, since at the moment it's their moneymaker.

Probably, but that's the sauce for all those curious. I'm not going to believe any info until I see it for myself, personally. 

 

though another 41 minute long Direct would be awesome I will not let myself get wrapped up in the hype. I will chant this repeatedly until I believe it.

 

Edit: I guess I was wrong, as shown above. I just initially saw the news on NintendoEverything. Hmm, strange.
