Xbox One might not even outsell Wii U.

This site never acknowledged Xbox presence and years back people laughed, when other said Xbox will break 50 million. This site has made horrible predictions over and over, always in favor of Sony.  Yet it hasn't played out that way in the slightest. To say Xbox won't get competitive or drop kinect if it needs to, is funny. THey can drop kinect and undercut PS4 in a blink of a eye. This would entice many to jump ship. However this is last ditch effort and I wouldn't count them out even if they decide to keep Kinect. Once the games start focusing on Kinect, people will opt to buy. Yes they need a price cut but that will come in time.

And then it was the whole wii60 where both MS and ninty fans teemd up agianst PS3 as they were all but hurt over what PS2 did to their consoles and this was always a sony negative place.  Only recently did PS3 comeback WiiU failure and PS4 dommination some what change that.  But even still more on here in a poll said they would buy watchDogs on Wiiu the PS4, should tell you plenty.

Either they keep kinteic keep the price and focus on motion games or they drop it and cut price.  Choose one for your argument?  Even if they drop kinetic and cut price under PS4, they still have weaker hardware (fact) running inferior 3rd party games (fact) and have smaller first party (fact)

Look at what each Sony console sold lowest seller is +80milliuon, odds are in PS4 favor reality is in its favor, facts are in its favor.

 


LOL you are completly biased confirmed. Look at all the polls. Sony is voted for 2 to 1 over any console.

Still waiting how they outsell ps4 without europe and japan, and not having near the advantage nin the US/UK as last gen. It's common sense, x1 could be 399 tomorrow and because of Playstations World wide appeal x1 gets outsold weekly. Nothing MS can do about europe or japan.

 

They don't have sony stumbling at everything for 2 years this time.

There's no big casual attraction that the Wii had in 7th gen for either system. And the PS2 controlled the 3rd party market in gen 6, had US dominated and was on the market for 12 years. Neither consoles fit the criteria to hit the same level as Wii or PS2.

ps4 I see easily unless some major game changer hits.

xbox one I don't think it's as likely but if they get the right mix of games and the other features on the console could take off, but I expect it to be flat to slightly down from the 360

Odds are that this gen will not sell as much as last gen just due to the fact of time. Nintendo will not want to keep the Wii U afloat for 8 years like MS and Sony did with PS3 and 360.

You can't tell the future as much as I can't but as MS walked out of the DRM ok, they will make adjustments along the way.  They can drop to 399 with Kinect by fall of next year with no issue. Sony cannot, they need profits now.  They are losing everywhere accept PS4, they will keep the price as high as they can for as long as they can.

MS handed the victory bag to sony with their fuck ups, so unless PS4 has a PROD moment in the future that MS can capatilize on its pretty much settled.  One is the record setting media gamer darling the other well...  drm e3 mega pr disaster and all the other fuck ups stink is still freash.

Buddy Ms aint cutting x1 with kinetic to 399, shareholders are already are calling for xbox to be killed.  Letting it slip into the red and selling at a big loss would only strengthen their cries.  Xbox means little to MS over all, many shareholders do not view beating PS as a need that deserves resources to be wasted on.

MS is getting out sold in its home market thats a fact not opinion, MS lost massiv market share is another fact.  That should tell you plenty nuff.

Hey it may be the case, but clearly you dont understand business.  Beause if Sony sales PS it means PS4 will continue, PS brand will live on even if Sony goes belly up.  If they spin of PS in to a seperate brand PS4 will continue.  SCE and PS will not die or cease to exist no matter what happens to Sony.

Personally i wouldnt mind seeing Samsung and PS team up, would be damn interesting. 

I dont see MS selling it, but i also dont see them wasting billions on some pointless dream to beat Sony at gaming as to many foolish people thing MS will do.

I own the Xbone, and cynical is all i can be when discussing it.
