You are right hype will fade, but that where games come in. They rekindle that hype. Why has sony been taking their sweet ass time with exclusives, casue they can. You can't tell the future as much as I can't but as MS walked out of the DRM ok, they will make adjustments along the way. They can drop to 399 with Kinect by fall of next year with no issue. Sony cannot, they need profits now. They are losing everywhere accept PS4, they will keep the price as high as they can for as long as they can.

MS handed the victory bag to sony with their fuck ups, so unless PS4 has a PROD moment in the future that MS can capatilize on its pretty much settled. One is the record setting media gamer darling the other well... drm e3 mega pr disaster and all the other fuck ups stink is still freash.
Buddy Ms aint cutting x1 with kinetic to 399, shareholders are already are calling for xbox to be killed. Letting it slip into the red and selling at a big loss would only strengthen their cries. Xbox means little to MS over all, many shareholders do not view beating PS as a need that deserves resources to be wasted on.
MS is getting out sold in its home market thats a fact not opinion, MS lost massiv market share is another fact. That should tell you plenty nuff.

I can say that sony is done because they are selling off everything, PS4 is next, it has to be the case, cause I said so. Give me a break. Are we really going to use all this as fact to what sales are going to be and the future? No we shouldn't. Your argument Has no validity and is that of a pipe dream. MS will not sell Xbox one and it will continue to sell. Shareholders always complain. You just don't have experience with the market. They whine about everything. Hey it may be the case, but clearly you dont understand business. Beause if Sony sales PS it means PS4 will continue, PS brand will live on even if Sony goes belly up. If they spin of PS in to a seperate brand PS4 will continue. SCE and PS will not die or cease to exist no matter what happens to Sony.
Personally i wouldnt mind seeing Samsung and PS team up, would be damn interesting.
I dont see MS selling it, but i also dont see them wasting billions on some pointless dream to beat Sony at gaming as to many foolish people thing MS will do.
I own the Xbone, and cynical is all i can be when discussing it.
