Surely XBOne will have a better first year than XB360, despite the higher price. Maybe 10M this year is a little too high, unless they cut the price before BF and Xmas 2014, but >8M is a reasonable goal. So if PS4 keeps its lead and Wii U manages to do better than now, XBOne selling between 8 and 10 million would be a great start (restart for Wii U) for 8th gen. Not even needed to mention PC and tablets and smartphones, the former is doing better than ever on SW (despite slow HW sales) and the latter is still growing, although it competes on a quite different market, for now.

I do think they will be able to ship somewhere around 8 MN this year for a total of 11-12mn shipped. Anything more than that would be incredible. Also, Halo 2 won't sell as well as Halo 5, but it will shift ALOT of consoles into peoples homes.

I think they will do 10m because I think a price cut is incoming. They haven't really started selling to Europe yet in sales terms. Most have rejected the high price but I see no reason why the Xbox One can't do well in Europe. It's just a dire spec for its current price point. It's really down to pricing though. At current pricing no way 10m.
