so wait does he main itll have sold 10 million total by the end of the year, or sales taking place within 2014 will be 10 million? Major difference between the 2...

But Pachter means in 2014 or lifetime???

If it's "6M this year", not "10m this year" that's too low IMO. I think it will ship, only in 2014, 10m minimum ending 2014 with around 14m Xbox One total shipped.

Then i agree with VGC users!!, by the way I expect PS4 will sell, at least, around 70-80% more than Xbox one, so...., around 17-18m only in 2014. WiiU will be around 5-6m to complete my prediction.

Doable since Halo is coming out this year

edit:etomaz set me straight, I thought Halo 5 was this year. I dont see it happening, both consoles will see a major dropoff(if X1 already hasent this month) soon. PS4 will make 10+ not X1.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

The x1 will sell this amount with no problem by the end of 2014 calender. Titanfall alone should shift around 4 million x1 consoles and Sunset overdrive+Halo+quantum break will sell the rest. The ps4 in that time span should shift around 12 million.

I think that if Xbox One sells 10m this year, it will be a very good result, because if PS4 starts dominating, it will be very hard for Xbox One to reach 10m in a year again, in next years. I don't think TitanFall or Halo will be enough.

I see the rivalry between PS4 and Xbox One like NDS and PSP back then, only that PS4 will last even more than its comptitor...
