Now.....what are the console wars terms of engagement?

Do we count 360/X1 Titanfall sales vs Infamous or just X1 vs Infamous?

EDIT: This "significant" demand is kinda amusing.....where were you guys when Infamous 2 released????? ;)

Infamous SS benefits greatly from being the first big exclusive on the PS4 since launch and probably being the only one for a couple months. Also I don't know what it is but this Infamous looks alot more exciting to me than 2 did, I won't get a PS4 for it but I might try it out once I get one, at least if the final product turns out well.

Now for Titanfall vs Infamous I think X1 vs PS4 seems fair, though I would say that both games won't have any trouble selling, if they're received well by critics then I think both games will easily clear 3mil in 2014.

I remember well where i was, I was buying Infamous 2 on release day :)

Infamous 2 is a bit of a strange one, the world was better, but the game lost something in its story... (didnt like the character model change)... but overall its still a lot of fun, and technically a massive jump over 1. The Halloween game DLC is great also, can be picked up cheaply now...

Sales wise, hmm it's difficult. There are alot of people who have moved over to PS4 at the moment, will they (even if they didnt buy previous infamous) buy it. It's in the same position really as Titanfall, if people are complaining about lack of software, there is a title there they can buy straight off.

I think both titles will do well, I think Infamous will be greater than Titanfall, but titanfall on multiple platforms will be bigger than Infamous.. but it could easily go the other way (XBO TF bigger than Infamous)

Infamous 2 <> sesond son. Second son is seeing demand that is obvious, it looks great, and it's a big AAA title on the bets selling next gen system.

Going to be an epic fight between these two. Nintendo should have released Mario Kart in March so we could have had an all out war.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

There is high enough demand for the infamous series to warrant a new title on the PlayStation 4. Infamous is one of my favorite franchises on the PlayStation 4. That's good enough for me.

Action fans, inFamous is best
FPS fans, Titanfall is best.

Let the sales of these games speak for themselves. My prediction inFamous>>> Titanfall.

ehh...Infamous will need to have a really strong presence in Europe for this to be the case. A game with such universal appeal, like Titanfall (being an FPS), and having the hype behind it will have a crazy attach ratio in America. I don't think Infamous will do the same, even if the PS4 and XBone are statistically tied in America. So Europe will be the deciding factor. Best case scenario for Infamous, imo, is they tie. Europe will sell more Infamous than Titanfall but that's only because there's a million more PS4s in Europe than XBones.

I know I am not getting TitanFall, unless it is for X360 in which case I have to buy the game and XBL Gold so that is unlikely.

I am not sure on inFamous Second Son. I have the hardware, but the protagonist has too much of a Shia Lebeouf vibe that I don't like.

Mario Kart 8 is releasing 2-3 months after both these games and is therefore irrelevant to the comparison, but I do 100% intend to buy that one (already have hardware).

Ehhh, I wouldn't be so sure about that, the Infamous series hasn't been very big in Europe in the past, but with this game basically having the spotlight on the PS4 for itself for some time, Sony can easily make it sell alot more than it's predecessors in Europe (or in the US for that matter). Titanfall on the other hand will have a huge attach rate in NA, I agree. With the X1 struggling in Europe as much as it is right now though, I'm not 100% sure if that will be enough.

Glad to hear that. It will most likely become the best selling Infamous game to date. I am totally OK with that since it looks like it may be the best one, too.

Multiplayer only is not universal appeal.
