I just thought it was funny how you responded to the way he interpreted your information. It did seem quite far off from the point you were making. I've seen many people say someone is calling doom on something when they are making valid points around these parts. 

Dat PS4...

A pretty much expected week. Maybe PS4 and XOne slightly lower than I expected. I wonder if the PS4 will be below 100k before it launches in Japan? Doubtful.

I've got a feeling both the X1 and the PS4 will be adjusted up in America eventually, and I think the Vita will be adjusted up in America too (not by much).

At the moment the biggest problem the Vita has is gaining retail space. In my own town not a single shop supports it in any meaningful way. There's not wonder that people think the Vita hasn't got games when all they see is a small shelf with about 12 titles on it.

Yeah, pretty doubtful. Stock issues spread out sales pretty nicely, so they probably won't go down (or up for that matter) until Sony sends more (or less) stock and/or demand decreases.

Xbox One is surprisingly low in Europe imo. Also interesting to see PSP outselling both Wii U and PS Vita in Europe. Guess that PSP-E1000 did the trick (Why would anyone buy that one though? It's beyond me).

And PS Vita in the US is just pityful. Why are you not buying that console? It got outsold by the bloody Wii. In 2014.

Nobody should be buying a Wii in stores anyway by this point, same as with the PSP. Both of these consoles only have models out that are significant downgrades to earlier models and thus are too expensive for what they're worth. Well, at least PSP's successor is not backwards compatible, so it makes some sense (Note that this is not a good thing in my book).

I guess the same holds true for the PS3. Though I never understood the idea of doing constant downgrades to your console. I mean, yeah, it's to reduce the price and/or maximise the profit, but still. Can't you at least give consumers a choice and offer various models instead of fading the more expensive ones out? But I'm going off topic here.

Expected outcome, these results are from before stock provisions increased for the PlayStation 4, the latter half (next 2 updates) are going to be interesting.

The market needs a serious dose of AAA titles. I saw the chart on one of other threads and Xbox One is hitting the exact some curve that the Wii U hit last year. It fufilled launch demand, and it starting to flatline at almost the exact same rate that the Wii U did. PS4's launch demand wave is coming to an end in the U.S. and Europe. Those are really good sales no doubt, but that was the PS4's weakest sales week overall. Lucky for Sony the Japan launch should give them a boost. The PS4 will need games too though, just not as badly as Wii U and Xbox One needs them.

WiiU is doing pretty badly.. Oh well, at least it outsold the 360 which means that the 360 is finally dead.
