Absolutely, positively not. There will never be another Gears.

Shit game? Sure. But graphical it was so far ahead of absolutely everything else in the industry it wasn't even funny, including PC games. Nearly everyone, including myself, didn't actually believe what we were seeing was real gameplay until the game was actually out. People were also legitimately super excited about the over the shoulder camera and chainsaw gun coming hot of the heels of the RE4 hysteria.

While the Order will probably be fun, the truth is the level of hype for the game is practically non-existent in comparison. The core is absolutely sick and tired of shooters at this point, and the graphics we've seen so far aren't even necessarily as good as what we've already seen from Killzone. A launch title

Could be, but i don't know. It's not like the order 1886 hasn't been done before, in a sense. It's a big wait-and-see.

Gears didn't show what 7th gen consoles were capable of.

Gears exploded because of the gameplay and launching at the perfect time in next gen, had very little to do with the graphics imho.

Titanfall has potential to be way more groundbreaking than The Order. If TF is a success you might see a lot more popular shooters skip the obligatory thrown in campaign mode. It might also finally bring a slow end to these generic military shooters. I hope The Order is good though, it's my most anticipated PS4 title. But a gen changer like Gears it will not be.

Gears didnt just set the bar, it inspired what made 3rd person shooters great. It progressed cinematic experiences. The graphics was better than anything we had seen.

I cant say that about the order until we have actually seen gameplay(unless ive missed something). That would be like me saying Quantum Break is going to do the same thing with the 2 seconds of gameplay we have seen.

Sure they look like good games but far too early to make a prediction like this.

What's next weeks lotto numbers? You simply know nothing about the order to say that and shooters without campaigns have been around for over a decade lol.
