Hard to tell... The wiiU has the audience for Smash and most people prefer fighting games on home consoles as well as dem HD visuals but the 3ds has a large install base vs the wiiU's super small install base but I want to say the wiiU however idk

The benefit of having a much greater userbase plus the many cases where each sibling/family member playing will get his/her own copy of the game will be just enough to outsell the Wii U version.

It will be close, though.

I just want it to sell well on Wii U, I don't care if it is surpassed by the 3DS version.
Sales could be even better if they announce some interaction between versions.

I thought Smash will be a system seller for the Wii U but the 3DS version will stop this just because of the userbase. I am going to buy the Wii U version but maybe some people will buy the Wii U version after the 3DS  version...

...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

Wii U. It's not a system saving game, but it is a system seller. The Smash community is pretty big, and they are firmly behind the Wii U version.
