If that's the case, it says more bad things about Xbox One and PS4 owners than about Wii U owners.

How so? If several people didnt play TR for various reasons or if they did but want to pass time on the PS4. What does Wind Waker HD say about WiiU owners?

I'm being too harsh. It's just the idea of a large number of people spending $60 on a game that is scarcely improved over a version that is already only $30 at many retailers on a cheaper system... it suggests to me that people are only buying it because they want a good looking game, not because the game would necessarily benefit from being played on the newer system. And by extension, it suggests that the peoplke who have bought PS4's and Xbox Ones really don't care about games as much as hardware, something that rubs me the wrong way.

At least with Wind Waker HD, you had a constant map and/or inventory screen along with a new feature or two.

That said, Tomb Raider for the 8th gen consoles is likely going to be a great port of a great game that a lot of people probably missed out on the first time around. So maybe I'm just being harsh for no good reason.

Wind Waker HD is a remaster of a 10 year old game. Tomb Raider Definitive is a remaster of a 1 year old game.

I think it can easily sell 700k combined simply because people are itching for new games to play or haven't played it on 7th gen, I'm just renting it from Gamefly though.

Probably not. 600K+ is asking a lot for any HD re-release, let alone one that's being released just a year after the original game came out.

Why does it rub you the wrong way? Why should you care?

Assuming what you said about PS4 and Xbox One owners is actually true.

Tell me about it. It's non of their business if a person wants to spend money on graphics alone. Why the hell would it bother anyone.

1.- Outselling anything on Wii U is not an achievement.
2.- Buying a re-release is nothing to be proud.

Assuming all of them bought it before...

Yes. assuming it.

Did you also assume pokemon X and Y owners are the same?

And Pokemon is relevant to this conversation because....?

Anyway, yes. I assume that. Just like the PS360 userbase is composed by mutiplatform owners.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I watched a walkthrough of TR a week or so back. Great game. PS4 and XBONE games won't start rolling in like hotcakes until around March so I could indeed see this game selling alot so people have SOMETHING to play. Especially those who aren't a fan of shooters.
