just let it be Nintendo exclusive and it will be fine. (at least make it a timed Nintendo exclusive for a year or 2)

So your saying you'd much prefer the game purely if it is was exclusive to a Nintendo system?

Gotcha.

OT: I'll wait until I've started Resident Evil: Revelations, until then, the franchise is dead to me.

Revelations is good. Boring enemies and a bit of backtracking, but it is great. The last great Resident Evil, honestly.

Mind you, if you are going to play it on a console, remember: the game was designed for a handheld.

If the result will be more games like RE4 and Revelations then HELL YEAH.

Totally agree. Revelations was great. Smart, scary, claustrophobic, it was very much a return to form.

I recommend you play it on 3DS if you have the means, brendude.

Saving Resident Evil is easy.

Drop Resident Evil and reboot Dino Crisis.

they just need to put more boobs....

I had that in mind, and that's exactly why I bought it for the 3DS already.

I don't want to start it until I've finished Pokemon Y and can really invest the time in it though.

Resident Evil 6 had the potential to be a great game, it just had a lot of bad gameplay mechanics. Also, it was too long.

I really enjoyed RE:Revelations. That shows Capcom still knows the formula to solid RE game.

I played the original on PS1 when it came out and became a mega fan. It's still my favorite franchise ever. But I haven't had a true RE to enjoy since CV. RE4 was a new IP with RE slapped onto it to help it sell and it killed the franchise.

So, to answer the question, yes, it's dead. I've been wanting since CV on Dreamcast, but Ive given up hope.

if it doesn't go back to it's roots then yes it is doomed

If they do another game similar to Resident Evil 6, then yes. Honestly, they need to go back to Resident Evil's roots, where survival was a necessity. If Capcom wants to do the whole co op thing, I think they should give the Outbreak series another chance.

i agree 100% supply constrained akward camera angles collect items used to solve puzzles. Bonuses for how well you played through your last game. RE2 style ftw
