Haven't played Knack or Ryse, but I seriously doubt those 4/10 scores were fair. 4/10 should be for game with serious glitches or games that are absolutely terrible and not fun at all.

Gravity Rush
An 9.5/10. A very innovative game and as close to a masterpiece as I can think. People thought that the combat is shallow, but I think that's only a part of the game. I absolutely loved the experience, thought the battle was decent and fell in love with the main character and with the entire world they created. I believe that reviewers were hating on vita at the time and nothing seemed to impress them no matter what.

Ryse was an amazingly horrible game, even as a rental.  Gravity Rush is one of the best new IP's of the gen, any console, IMO.

Well, since we agree on GR's awesomeness, I might end up not liking it. But I've been dying it to try it on my own. I just can't see how it can't even be dumb fun.

It passes for dumb violent fun, but the fighting system is PISS poor.  It is so boring.  Bad enough getting to the end is tough, and the game is really short.  You can't miss the executions it just does them automatically for you over and over again.  You'll  see what I'm saying when you play it.

Playstation All Stars Battle Royal:
The game was an 8.5/10 for me. People hated it for the sake of hating it. Most of the reviewers were not professional enough and seem to have been influenced by Ninty fans bashing the game ever since it was announced.

Dante's Inferno:
9/10 for me. An incredible game again not appreciated for how good it is just because of its similarities with God of War.

DMC
Received good scores, but was hated by fans who didn't even play it. I remember countless posts by people who played it and loved it and some who were diehard fans and thought it was not up to par. As someone who never was a fan of dmc games, I enjoyed more than I expected (10/10 for me). In terms of combat, music, voice acting, cut scenes, length, etc I can't see what was wrong with it.

Sorcery:
Awesome game. 9/10 for me. One of the best motion controller games. I still don't understand the low scores it received. It seems to me that any game that has a kiddie feel, unless it's made by Ninty, gets a lower score. Sure the story was not very deep, but do all games need to have a deep story and why does Mario get a free pass?

Move games
Many games like Start the Party, Tumble, Tv Superstars, Dancestar, etc were tons of fun. It's a shame they didn't sell well at all and that reviewers hated them so much. I keep wondering if they've ever played them with friends. I did and we had a lot of fun.

Were ciritcs harsh on Gravtiy Rush? I see it pop up in all the "top Vita games" lists and it's always held in a positive light.

Playstation All Stars + three buddies + alcohol = Awesome.

Disagree. Some prick always chooses Radec, bottles get thrown.

Radec feel umbalanced to you?

Try these two:

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop

Not a flawless game by any means, but a lot of fun! Unfortunately everyone hated on it from the first screenshot that was released.

Just checked metacritic and I guess I had the wrong impression. I remember it scoring pretty low based on gamspot giving it a 6.5/10. It seemed to me a game of the generation/unique kind of game and the reviewers did not suggest that in their reviews, whereas they did with journey. Journey got so much praise that it got people's attention. Gravity Rush got good scores, but not good enough, so most people who were on the fence, were not convinced based on the reviews to give it a try (and buy a vita).

DmC Devil May Cry.  I've finally played through the full game finishing it on Nephilim difficulty and over half of the game on Son of Sparda and my opinion is unchanged from my played a little bit of it here and there at a friends.  The game is just as good as any other Devil May Cry, and in a way I enjoy it a bit more, but also a bit less.  When it comes to storyline, DmC Devil May Cry is incredibly good and far better than either DMC or DMC3.  Combat is extremely well and as the previous two games on the list, has a lot of variety to the combos.  While I will admit that DmC Devil May Cry is a bit harder to master the weapon system than DMC3 or DMC4, as many times throughout my first playthrough game I accidentally either used the wrong weapon, hit square and used the grappling hook instead of the weapon, used the wrong grappling hook, etc, by the end of the game I had no problems whatsoever doing what I wanted without issue.  The only problem with this game is that all difficulties up to and including Nephilim are too easy when you get used to the weapons, and then Son of Sparda might have you fighting five enemies that you can only damage with light weapons, or five eneimies you can only damage with dark weapons, several of both as a sort of more cheap difficulty being the reason I might get hit rather  than actually being difficult.

This one. I actually enjoyed it a lot, but it can be related to the fact I didn't played a lot of DMC before that, so I wasn't much affected by the "franchise reboot" effect. Anyway, its a competent game, with a special attention to the very well done environments.
