This promotion ends today

Let's see, I downloaded the month trial version of Wii Fit U during the holidays, and as some of you know you can keep the full game if you link a Fit Meter. The price of the activity meter is much lower than similar devices presented as CES and it was also the same as what I paid Wii Fit Plus, so I decided to buy it.

Suposedly I have the full software now but my my icon still has the promotional subtitle, it is not clear if I have to delete to update it myself or not. Is Wii Fit U promotional forever?

On a different note, how you guys liking the Fit Meter?

Bought it a while ago. Keep forgetting to wear the damn thing.

I got the set with the Wii Fit board. I never owned it on the Wii so finally decided to get one given that they are $65 right now.

I haven't used the fit meter much yet but I'm a bit disappointed in the purchase so far. Why is this title SOOOOO slow? Too much waiting between screens. No excuse for this slowness with how simple the graphics are.  Wii U has over double the usable ram of PS3/360... this game should have almost no loading if done right.

I cant find the damn Fit Meter on its own so Im waiting awhile for the retail copy to drop in price =(

I've been wearing it continuously for a week (just not syncing it every day). The thing is so light that it has already fallen three times to the floor and it seems durable since I don't see any scratches. I even used it as a watch once during a meeting xD.

The altitude part is quite weak here in the Netherlands, because everything is flat, if I was in Madrid I would climb mount Everest easily.

It may be worth asking in stores for a Fit Meter, I know Game in the UK likes to hide Nintendo products in the back room (I think they're pretending it doesn't exist).

I'm liking the fit meter more than the game tbh. Although now it's the new year I'm making a concerted effort to lose weight, so need to try harder to use both together.

I think the meter is nice. have it on most of the day as I like to check how many calories I have burned from time to time

I don't plan on playing this game.

I haven't played the demo yet but I will soon. I wonder if this is a good supplement to working out in the gym.
