Seriously, anyone who understands the type of company Sony is (and it's size) knows they won't be bankrupt in the next few years. It's definitely possible, in fact probably, they they will have to cut off division in the next few years, but that's about it. Even in some world where they did nothing to cut off bleeding parts of the company to the point of bankruptcy, they would probably just get a government bailout (140,000+ people becoming unemployed in one go would be horrible).

As for the second thing, in what universe is MS's $20+ billion annual profits anything less than amazing? They earn more profit in a year than Nintendo's actually worth :P

During the 3DS' peak year against dying/supply constrained consoles, and not even by all that much on average. Hardly something to celebrate, but have at it.

Only if you're adding Nintendo's handhelds and home consoles together against just the competitor's consoles. Otherwise that wouldn't have been remotely true for the N64/Gamecube. The fact that you have to try and add two devices together just to compete against one says something.

Didn't you do this your self a second ago? Pokemon isn't no.1 gta/cod is if you add two devices.  Does that say something? We are talking about games by a company and the profits they bring in total.  You can't dismiss half a companies games/systems! it's the total, right?

Sony made huge profits from ps1/2, HUGE!! Then they poured those very same in the wars of attrition known as psp/3/v.  The have nothing left to show for it except 2-5 billion. Ms xbox is negative 2-5 billion. Nintendo is up 35-40 billion.  (exact no. fluctuates).  Can you see what I mean?

Not true for 7th gen home consoles. Not sure about handhelds, but If you're talking about 8th gen home consoles then this is just as silly as your third point.

It is from certain perspectives, from certain tastes.  Open world rpgs with mechs and on down the line.  Many would say Wii U has the better 2014.

As i stated in the title. Look at the chartz!! It ain't hard.  There are four places to get ranked.  Total console sales, total handheld sales, weekly software sales, and weekly hardware sales.  Where's Nintendo? No.1 No.1 No.1 No.1

Not to rain on your parade, but most of the stuff you said is either inaccurate, subjective  or misleading. I know there's a lot of negativity regarding Nintendo right now, but your approach doesn't make you much better than those people.

How so?  Aren't you the guy that says there's offenders on both sides?  I'm not attacking,I'm celebrating. That does make me much better. Show me where it's inaccurate, subjective  or misleading and maybe you'll see.  Subjective is the 2014 comment I get that.  There's nothing misleading or inaccurate here.

Of course there are offenders from every fanbase. You're not celebrating, you're being misleading and inaccurate in an attempt to promote your preffered console manufacturer. As far as I'm concerned, dishonesty in an attempt to be positive isn't much better than honesty in an attempt to be negative.

Anyhow, I pointed out the stuff in the OP that is indeed misleading and inaccurate.

A little behind? Anyone denying the fact that the WiiU is an absolute disaster right now is beyond delusional. Do I need to remind you this thing is tracking under the Gamecube?

I'll skip past the MS stuff because it's really not worth my time (i mean really now), so i'll go right to the 79% (lol) article.

The fact you are even linking the article shows how little you understand of the methods they use to derive their statistics :P They make estimates based on current financial reports, not much else.

They also now have Nintendo at a 76% chance of bankruptcy in the next 2 years

It's not us lowering predictions to a loss and trashing the stock. That's real world people who are currently losing money on Nintendo.

I mean if they are so great and on top of everything, why can't they make a profit?

This is something i always wondered about.  I wasn't even aware Nintendo won last gen until it was over.  I didn't know Sony was doing poorly at all.  I find it hard to believe Nintendo fans came here and ridiculed Sony or Ms.  The Nintendo fans I know are defensive but not aggressive.

I'm not gonna justify a lack of profit.  I'll say it's unusual for Nintendo.  But I won't justify it.  It may not be vgc members setting headlines but they're the ones over reacting with insulting remedies.  Was Ms and Sony told to give up and surrender the entire 7th gen while they bled their pockets?  I wasn't here.  If so, were their fans insulted?  I think everyone should take a min and acknowledge Nintendo is on top of every chart.  I had to make this thread or request a ban.  Seeing these hoople heads fling dung at Nintendo day in and day out.

Yeah it's getting depressing. I'm very very close to leaving this site for good, or at the very least, spend about 10% of the time I usually spend here.

I joined back in 07, when the main appeal was to enjoy the epic Nintendo sales and leave comments on the sales chart pages themselves. Now that both of those appeals are gone, this site is basically just another hardcore infested e-penis hangout, with 75% "Nintendo is doomed" topics. I joined this site to leave the stupidity and fanboyism that infested gamepro.com, and now this site has essentially become gamepro.com, just with perhaps some more strict mod rules and more disguised fanboyism.

I used to come here as sort of a mindless time filler to enjoy. Now I find myself dreading coming here in a way, as I wonder how shitty the Nintendo sales are going to look this week, and how many retarded Nintendo bashing topics I am going to suffer through reading. When something that was once fun and relaxing because a chore that you dread, it's time to move on..
