Feels kind of pathetic naming a game as simple as Wii Sports as game of generation, but it really was. It really takes the cake as the whole "best thing since sliced bread" analogy. Sure there are hundreds of great games I could list that have either amazing graphics, great puzzles, a great story, ect you name it. But none of them were the "WOW this is amazing" as Wii Sports was.

It had that effect the first time you played Guitar Hero back in the PS2 generation.

Others might laugh at you, but I actually get what you are saying. We had the Wii U up and running at our New Year Eve party. Combine 30+ people, liquor, and Wii bownling and it was something I'm not sure I can ever replicate.

Mine would be The Last Of Us, along with Bravely Default (this game is the "real" Final Fantasy we've been waiting for so long).

But since BD isn't out in every country yet, I'll vote for The Last Of Us

But c'mon! These two games are not the ONLY ones contending to ge Game of the Generation, are they?? There were a lot of noteworthy games this gen, but all it boils down to are these two?
