I'll go with Super Mario Galaxy. That was the game that started the generation for me and it was the game that really started my gaming habit. I was a bit of a casual gamer beforehand but before I got a Wii I watched SMG videos every chance I got and was insanely hyped. Luckily it did not disappoint and it met all of my expectations and then exceeded them. There are so many games that I loved this generation but SMG has a special place in my heart :3

My favorite game overall from this gen is Battlefield Bad Company 2. Close second would be Mass Effect 2.

Mario Galaxy was a fantastic game, not played Last of Us but neither are game of the generation for me, the game of the generation should be a game that 'defined' the generation. It moved the industry in a certain direction and without it or it's popularity, everything might be different.

I don't think there's any Xbox 360 exclusive that ever got into the same meta grade as SMG and TLOU. So the people voting on this thread are kinda being accurate with the critics.
