And that would still be a 40% tracking fail. Beign off by 2 million LTD is one thing (2%). Being off 2 million in during a tracking period of 5 million (40%) is another.

That was what Max (and I) were trying to get at. The error for the PS4 in December between the sales announcements was greater than the LTD error. Just like a 2 million error for the Wii in 2013 would be greater for the year than for the LTD.

Sonys goal was 5 million by March right. It seens like they aimmed low, theyre gona be over 6 million by them at this rate.
VG was almost dead on, well within margin of error. What are you complaining about?

Possibly related to their manufacturing capacity which at the moment is lower than demand.
...and they probably contracted more manufacturers after that prediction was made.
