You do realize there's reason monopolies are illegal in the US, right? Do you honestly believe that if MS was top dog at this point that those shitty policies, that initially made the XBone utter crap, would've been taken away? Do you think it'd be priced so competitively right now? If you honestly believe that they would, you have waaaay too much faith in a corporation and that, my friend, is extremely dangerous as a consumer. If MS were to buy Sony and basically own a monopoly on the US gaming market, the industry as a whole would collapse within months. Why would MS bother spending money to please consumers, if there's no other products for them to buy? People would stop buying game consoles and the industry would collapse within no time.

Honestly, guys like you really should be thanking god that Sony is around and the PS4 is doing to so well. If you really want the PS division to be bought out, then hope for someone like Google, Samsung, or even Apple. Not MS. Don't hope for the death of competition, and don't trust a large corporation. Especially not MS..
