could you link me to where Cboat said there will be a widespread catastrophic failures? because i dont remember him posting that.
OS issues on PS3, PS4 vita, galaxy or any other device are completely irrelevant. as cboat was talking about the xbox one only. no comparison was made and frankly, they dont matter in this subject, again, this is all about xbox one.

“If CBOAT ever spills publicly what s/he shared via PM regarding a myriad of other technical issues going on right now…I’m going right back in that shelter and welding it shut.“

CBOAT has gone on the record to say that the console is being rushed to the market, and that Microsoft have not planned the hardware properly- according to him, a 2014 release for the console would have been much suited, because as it stands now, the console will almost certainly have reliability issues like the Xbox 360′s Red Ring of Death.
The console in question [the one that CBOAT is talking about] is a zebra turned stress machine for hardware/heat issues testing.”

More leaks from the snap crashes (one of the Xbox One's best features IMO) and general OS faults.
I don't know if I'm being to cynical but does this mean every UI video Microsoft have shown has been a representation of the final product? Sony must be glad they done a real time demo at Gamescom.

In another set of tweets (which I won’t embed due to expletives), he states the following:
1. PSN is much further ahead than Xbox Live. XB1 Online is clusterf–k city.
2. Snap feature is causing stupid amounts of crashes.
3. And this is from a dev: “No matter what they do with tools, ES RAM will always be a bottleneck. No chance in hell for parity with PS4.”
