It gets hard to tell when someone who I thought was trolling provides false information, which they seem to believe, to back their statements. Flipping a coin would be good but that would be biased if I know the person is trolling and if the coin is the same on both sides

Also I'd need to consider other confounding factors and take them into account when determing who is trolling and who isn't

Your second line just opened a can of worms. Who are you to say how serious I am based on what I own? So only people with a lot of disposable income/time on their hands deserve such a title? Now ask a gamer who prefers PS3, and you will find it rare that they just used a PS3. Huh.....look at that. You are a all-around gamer so you are not part of the mix.

It's great that you try and divert the conversation from your idiotic statement, but how do you know how serious that guy is who owns god forbid a PC *and* a PS3... What I am saying is that your statement was stupid. 

The Xbox360 console had it all for *you*and thats great, but to suggest some underlying theory about two brothers and that the XBOX360 is the gaming device of the world for Xbox users and they don't play on anything else but Xbox because its the ultimate platform...ya di da... is as I said idiotic.

Let me ask a gamer friend who owns a Xbox and an XboxOne... OMG he plays the Simpsons on his tablet.....  omg he also has a PC.. OMG your theory is wrecked. Seriously... sometimes your posts...

Last thing....was just strictly talking consoles/gaming PC. I have Ipad games, and I own a 3ds. I was just talking in terms of the games that only a console/gaming rig could handle. Nm.


Just wanna say that I remember you posting something similar in another thread and it was only after most ps fans stated that they game mostly on ps3/pc, while xbox fans only mentioned xbox360. The difference between the two fanbases  (in terms of the combo of ps3/pc and only xb) at least in that thread was huge, so I know exactly what you mean. Whether it's accurate or not is another story, but I just wanted to say that I see nothing wrong with what you posted. It's just an observation anyway.

He hosted Thanksgiving this year at his house and of course had to show off his brand new Xbox One and how cool it was to use Voice Commands through Kinnect (which did not work well).  Then he bragged about how he had a cool DayOne edition and then pointed over to a second Xbox One that he purchase to sell later for profit. He was oh so very gleeful at the prospect of his goldmine in a green box. 

 

Well, my poor brother, he still has his goldmine in a green box sitting in the same corner collecting dust while plays his DayOne edition. Unless something changes in the market and Xbox Ones supply becomes extremely strained again, my poor brother will be stuck without his profits. Let's all give a moment of silence for his loss.

Boo hoo that a family member tried to rig the market and got burned by it...

No sympathy from anyone who tries to do this, whether it's from Sony,. Microsoft or Nintendo....

Similar story for me and my brother. Except we jointly bought a PS3 because we had no money to buy different consoles at first. When I went to college I took the PS3 because he owed me money and I bought most of the games. He bought a 360 (which broke). I also bought a 360 though (which also broke). We both barely play consoles anymore now and now we are PC elitists. For some reason he bought a $2000 PC to play dota 2 for the most part, but at least he will be good for some years. I have a $900 PC for WoW, Dota 2, LoL.

For next gen he does not look interested, and I am too poor to get any.

Nah, this is actually "Works as designed".  If your X360 hasn't had RROD or broken disc drive 4 or 5 times, you have rare system working outside of it's design specifications.
