I have never got my head around degrees F. What point does F reach zero? Honest question. 30 or so am i correct?

Only ever worked in degrees C. zero is 0. Makes sense. All i need to know is f the weather says zero i am look forward to some ice. Simple is it not?

"Zero is 0" in F too   But water generally freezes at 32 degrees.  (And boils at 212.)

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

It is easy, 0=cold 100=hot. >100 is extreme heat. <0 is extreme cold. 0-100 good enough for humans.

but you get ice at 30 something is that correct? If i remember correctly its 32?

I have only done celsius and kelvin. I am of the understandig that C is worked out on freezing and boiling points of water whilst F is on the human body.

To be honest to me its simple if its zero then its freezing.  Ice on the ground me no like. With that said the temp between 18 and 23 is very distinguishable. I will asume that 60 and 70 is not much of a change? I suppose its what your used to

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

32 is water freezing point in Farenheit. In my physics classes I commonly have to work with F, C , and kelvin so it gets annoying but whatever lol. 60 to 70 is little change, as both can be enjoyable weather. But to me 80 and 70 is a large change as well as 40 and 30.

Please. Global warming is very much a proven fact by now. What's debatable is the effect of anthropic activites on its acceleration and how it will manifest itself on a global scale.

No duh? Anytime an ice age is over, our the earth is going to be in a warming stage. That being the case, most people who would look at the patterns would also see we are very near or at the peak (given that the pattern that has been going on...for a LONG time...continues), and will start dropping into an ice age soon (fortunately for us, these take a long time to actually get into)

So if you agree we're in a warming phase then what's the problem? lol

I believe we have been in a general warming stage for 1000's of years. I don't think we are in one now. The earth has pretty much maintained temperatures over the last 15 years (hence why climate change reports have been having such a hard time still convincing people...because they have now had to come up with reasons for why this is happening)

The thing about this that gets me the most is that people still believe we, humans, can't have an effect on the weather. While its true that, in general, we are like a mouse pushing a rock the size of a continent, we have some effect. What this amounts to is that we haven't as yet, but should have, entered into a new ice age.

It's inevitable that the earth will continue its cycle of ice age, warming period, ice age, warming period. But when and how those occurances play out can and will be effected by humans, if nothing else because we exceed the natural boundries that have come before.

Global warming is a misnomer of people who either don't understand what they are trying to push or what they are trying to defend. The true term should be Climmate Disruption.

It would be impossible to do science if we did not do it in almost all celcius even in America.

Brisbane, Queensland. 42 degrees C here today, > 60% humidity and it's not even one of the hottest parts of the state.

Boston is fucking ridiculous right now. We usually don't get super low temps til february. It's been sub 9 degrees with a real-feel of -20.
Insane.

Lol and here in UK were getting the warmest autumn and winter months we've ever had. Strange.
