I would say that if you count the different iterations of Tetris as different games, then we should separate the different "updates" of Minecraft as different games since the difference between the iterations of Tetris are about the same as the "updates" of Minecraft minus the graphical differences.

Makes sense to me I suppose. Although the updates are free patches, aren't they?

Even then (not sure if they made it Beta users only or for everyone), we all know it's the same game.  Same goes for Tetris.  You may be buying it again, but you certainly are playing the same game at its core.  Most new iterations of Tetris just add new modes.

Is this a joke? Vitas a dud. Third parties supporting it is just more proof of a biased agenda regarding Nintendo. Not that it matters as the 3DS is dominating. But it is curious. The guy said developing for vita ruined him financially. What idiot would choose an installed base of 7m over 3DS'?

The guy who said vita ruined him also made a shitty almost unplayable game. The vita has room to grow as it is techniacally a much better system than the 3ds is and has much more room for growth.

I see that the list is missing a few 3DS games
-Fossil Fighters 3DS -Feb(Japan)- Nintendo
-Vitamin X Evolution Plus/Vitamin Z Revolution Jan (Japan)-D3
-A-Train 3D- Feb (Japan)-Artdink(dev)
plus there are a bunch of indie games that lack physical release
There is supposed to be a new Ace Attorney game this year also. Seems likely to be 3DS given short dev time and success of 5

Also just recalled Youkai Watch 2 is supposed to come out too
Isn't Initial D supposed to be Sega's F2P 3DS game or is that something different
Also a lot of games aren't announced until like 3 months before release if they aren't big sellers.

(1) Do you know anything the majority of people don't? 3rd party publishers have announced PS4/X1/X360/PS3 games that release end 2014/early 2015. Why would they hide only the WiiU/3DS projects?

You know games like Super Robot Taisen UX or Etrian Odyssey the Millenium Girl were annouced 3 months before their releases, it's not that surprising to think some games we don't know will come out soon.
It won't be something as big as a Monster Hunter/Yakuza or anything but it's some kind of good games.

What the point of the topic to begin with ?
Third parties are developping games on Vita/3DS and are quite happy with the result - I think- and that's why we''l got a new Bravely Default, a new theatre rythm, maybe a new Monster Hunter, a new Project Diva, Soul Sacrifice and so on so forth...

I'd like to see the top 500/1000 of 2013 (Media Create or Enterbrain) but I think the Vita will get more love if we compare it with 2012 performance :

Damn Atlus/Marvelous AQL must hate Europeans xD!

Atlus isn't present in Europe. Atlus-games are published by other publishers here (Ubisoft or Nintendo come to mind). Don't know about Marvelous, may be similar.

MH4 I don't : too expensive for Capcom to run servers in the west for 100-150K sales.

Still mad about MH going to 3DS?

Looking at the sales of MH Tri on Wii (1 million in US and europe), MH3U on WiiU (200K US+Europe) and MH3U on 3DS (>400K US+Europe) it is pretty clear that localization and servers for a new mainline title of the series will be profitable for Capcom. Pretty much no risk involved. The more interesting quetion will be: will Capcom bother and port it to a home-console for western-release or keep it on 3DS only. I hope for a home-console-port.

Vita is getting some awesome games from Japan, I hope they localize em for later 2014 as Shin Gundam Musou, Battle Pentagram, Disgaea 4.

And you forgot to mention DBZ: Battle of Z even if no one is actually interested in that game.

Where are these flurries? All I see is D rated games with very low sale potential. Battle Pentagram? Are you even serious?

None of those are D-rated in Japan. 3DS gets a couple of D-rated games in Japan though, but no one knows about that since they bomb hard.

LOL, yes, this posts confirms it. You're still mad about Bayonetta and Monster Hunter. You're providing no proof at all, but the Vita games are all doing great, while all the 3DS games are automatically bombing hard. Because they're on 3DS, you know.

Vita has the single biggest game on handhelds anyway (Minecraft). It will sell dozens of millions on Vita

Sure. Like it will does on WiiU. Since when is Minecraft big on handhelds, wasn't it a success on PC?

Not much on either system to get too excited about IMO.

I'm not joking about Minecraft being huge. Just exaggerating the effect it will have.

It will probably be the same price as on Live and PS3 ($19.99)

You say Minecraft has sold over 40 million, but Super Mario Bros. has also sold over 40 million. It's available through the eShop for just $5.

So, maybe Minecraft is tied for the biggest game ever to come to handhelds. XD

Biggest game ever to come to handhelds?  That goes to Tetris.

*cough* Angry Birds *cough*
