Ah the memories. Messy code, re-using variables, peek and poke to use video memory for extra storage, good times.

Sadly the thing limits me to 10 options in the poll so I had to either combine one with another or eliminate one (I didn't want to do that) so I combined the two most similar. Wii/Gamecube are virtually the same hardware and games looked (except for some later games and some other exceptions) the same on both consoles. Also, Gamecube controllers worked on Wii and so did the games. Basically, the Wii was the Gamecube with slightly better hardware and a Wii remote. The other consoles weren't that similar to each other in my opinion.

At the time though, the Gamecube was very powerful, had a great controller, got the best third party support for a Nintendo console since the SNES, and had amazing Core offerings from Nintendo.
The Wii was underpowered for it's time, had a godawful controller, got no meaningful third party support, and had pretty weak offereings from nintendo.
I know to the outside viewer they seam similar, but in terms of philosophy, and they experience you were getting, they couldn't be less similar.
SNES/Wii
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

The controller difference is a much more meaningful disparity than processing power.
