At first i hated it and thought controls were really broken. but it was just a matter of getting acustomed to them.
after a couple of hours of practice i thought controls were ok and spent 50h on MP online mode
lol.
its a great game. nothing wrong with its controls but it has a step learning curve thats all.

dont give up!!

It wasn't similar to the NES classic and the controls were kinda meh at first, but  in the end I enjoyed this game. It was decent.

Don't plan to. I'm going to give it another shot after new years. I'm stuck with playing Skyward Sword atm lol my friend is forcing me to complete it as I had left it incomplete for almost an entire year, not that it detracts me from enjoying the game .

I need to stop buying games...

Only thing I disliked about the controls was pushing the stick forward twice to run/dash...such a simple thing but I could never adjust.
This thread is making me wanna give it another go as well!

Wish they didn't held back on the flight sections for the sake of keeping the Sin and Punishment franchise relevant.

Edit: and the difficulty scale thing should be in  more  games

This 100%. I also wish the vehicules parts lasted longer than it did.

OT: Give it more time, at least wait until you reach Medusa and then come back and say you are not longer interested...

Loved it! All the menus and options! The graphics, music, hilarious voice acting are fantastic! I played through the story about 4 times, each on a different difficulty level. I found the controls to be wonderful once I got used to them. The stylus is very precise, and the "spin the globe" technique for the camera control worked great for me. Only issue I had at first was my hand would cramp. But using the included stand I had no issues, and I also thought the 3D effect worked wonderfully. As if that wasn't enough, my friends and I had a blast playing local and online multiplayer matches. I also spent a lot of time trying to create powerful weapons, which was addicting and fun. It's definitely the type of game that you get better at the more you play and once you get better you get more out of it and can enjoy it more. I think I've put about 55 or so hours into KI:U and I'm sure I'll end up playing more in the future. Right now, it's my 3rd favorite 3DS game behind Ocarina of Time 3D and Fire Emblem: Awakening...and even then it's still in my top 5 games of all time. The amount of content in Sakurai's games is astounding.

Ah, another game with an unconventional control scheme and a learning curve. And another game that I think is entirely worth learning. Easily in my top 3 Zeldas and my top 10 games of all time! Neither SS or KI:U are perfect, but both are still fantastic, in my opinion, and both worth the time and little bit of extra effort they require from you compared to most games. :D
