I got all 3 and see a bleak future for the wii unless NIN can come up with a reason why the wii pad is pure awesomeness and a wicked game can only be done on it. MK8 is not it.

The demographics you find on message boards like this are down to the fact that "hardcore gamers" have much more ego stake in things like sales and so feel they have to defend their adopted corporate entity of choice. Children or adults who play Nintendo games -- as a general rule -- almost inherently don't care about that in the same way.
