Halo= Great Awesome Multiplayer (i played 1000+ hours on Halo 3)
Metroid= Best singleplayer experience! Its the hardcore nintendo!!!

Oh well. Metroid's single player is absolutely awesome, and it's very different from Halo, which also has great single player, I personally can't compare both. On the multiplayer aspect, best handheld multiplayer experience I had was with Metroid Prime Hunters and the best console multiplayer experience I had was with Halo 3, so, again, I can't compare both. Sorry, can't answer your question.

This is a strange comparison. Bioshock vs Metroid would make more sense, or Halo vs Call of Duty, these are two completely different series.

I have to give the nod to Halo personally as I own every game on every platform it's been released on.
And I do love my Space Opera.

With that in mind, Super Metroid sucked my childhood from me.

Both excellent games in their own right, if I started buying Nintendo platforms again, I would buy all the Metroids, no questions asked.

So, get both if you can!

Story mode def Metroid, Halo 3 multiplayer was pretty awesome.

      Metroid with online multiplayer would simply murder Halo.
